Bertrand Maume
Maume did a test recently. He bought some of his own wood, from the nearby forest of Citeaux, which he has weather for 4 years. He also bought some barrels from his usual Tonnelier to compare the difference and there was a difference, but it varies sometimes he prefers his own wood, sometimes he doesn’t. At the moment he can’t make any judgement one way or the other.
