Domaine du Mas de Martin
The Domaine du Mas de Martin is situated in the village of Saint Bauzille de Montmel, to the north of Montpellier. The Domaine is owned by Christian Mocci, one of the new wine stars in the Languedoc. Christian has 18 ha. of vineyard, mainly planted with Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, as well as small parcels of Bordeaux varietals.

The 'Revue du Vin de France' describes the wines as 'classically modern, combining the best of the old methods with the best of modern wine-making. His wines are clean and classic in style with a great deal of ripe aromatic fruit, and perfect balance of freshness and full-bodied flavour. A veritable expression of finesse and elegance not usually found among Languedoc wines'. They chose Christian as the Languedoc's winemaker of the year 2002.
